I was...

...looking through some of my old notebooks, most likely from last year, and I found a poem I wrote. It's kind of cheesy, but it rhymes cutely, lol.

"False Hope"

Those words that you spoke...
They were like honey,
Honey in my mouth;
Warm and sweet.

I swallowed them with ease...
As it went down my throat,
It covered my heart,
Protecting me...

Did I realize it too late?
Those words...
I had made a mistake.

In the end,
You and your words...
They were nothing but fake.

But then turning some more pages, I came across this. Some random phrase I made up, I guess. These are the kind of things that normally tend to inspire me to make stories. They'r meaningless, in the sense that I just was mumbling words in my head without any specific goal other than to entertain, but yet, it's all so very curious.

"What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here... Those tears, they are not to be seen... Today is not your day... The world is not ready for you."

Hope you guys liked it. D:]

"The world is not ready for you..." OOOH! I LOVE IT! I almost want to steal that little sentence...talk about inspiring! I can see why you get ideas from this random stuff. 'tis interesting stuff!

I like the poem, it is kinda cheesy, but it stops beeing cutesy in the end. It has this abrupt stop that shocks the reader, just like the narrator of the poem was shocked to discover the words were fake. Nice!

The second part I like even better. It doesn't totally make sense, but you can make it into wahtever you want, which I like. As you know, the last sentence I really love. Can't quite explain why.

I'm curious why the tears aren't supposed to be seen. Mysterious. ^__^ Me likey. Make a story out of it! I miss reading your little story pieces...
